I smile a lot. It’s a beautiful life and even more beautiful shared. Though I’m not unhappy at the moment, I enjoy some solitude but have lots of friends.
I’m very honest (some say too honest) - I could have easily knocked a few years off my age as I have good genes ☺ and most of my friends are younger than me.
I’m not flighty, my last relationship was 10 years and we left on very good terms.
I haven’t lost the childlike sense of wonder and though I get a bit dented at times I love to trust people and life, and feel intensely, as then I really feel alive and connected.
Creativity is my life and I would like meet another creative person so we can cross fertilise ideas and appreciate the earth's amazing beauty. If you don’t love staring up at the moon and stars probably best you stop reading…
My life is split between Norfolk where I live and London where my studio is and I have worked as a successful self employed photographer for 30 years, now less commercial - you can find me under Carol Sharp artist. I'd rather be in the country these days as nature is increasingly my subject matter and the garden is where I like to be.
I love plants and nurturing them. I planted 500 trees 20 years ago on my property and watching them grow has been amazing and makes up for not having kids, though I enjoy being an aunt to my 6 nieces and nephews and got on well with my previous partners 2 boys.
I can find pleasure in the simple things, I'm not materialistic and am sad how so many base their lives on what they have. I have plenty as I've been lucky but I'd be just as happy with very little.
I love my wildflower meadow and the feel of the wind on my face, music and laughing. Also dancing.
